Superintendent's Message

Dear Wheeler Mustang Students, Staff, and Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 academic year! I hope you had a great summer with your families and friends, and got some much needed rest and relaxation as we head into a new school year!

It is my pleasure and honor to lead Wheeler ISD, and to partner with the students, staff, families, and community of Wheeler, TX. The start of any school year brings excitement and joy! The staff of Wheeler ISD is ready to fill the halls with students; the classrooms with engagement; and the courts, fields, and auditoriums with excellence. This is going to be a great year! 

In my role as Superintendent of Wheeler ISD, I aim to:

• Listen and Learn: to understand the people, culture, needs, and aspirations of the district and the community.
• Assess & Align: to review systems, finances, academics, extracurricular programs, and operations of the district to establish strong accountability systems, and lead Wheeler ISD to greatness.
• Lead Forward: To establish momentum through accountability, communication, trust, and relationships. I vow to create a system of transparency within the district’s staff & students, among the Board of Trustees, and with families and the community at large.

I have heard so many great things about the staff and students of Wheeler ISD, and the support that exists from the community. Thank you parents for sharing your children with us. I believe that the school district should be the foundation of the community, and I have no doubt that a STRONG sense of MUSTANG PRIDE exists here in Wheeler, TX. I look forward to working with parents and the community to provide the best possible education, programs, and activities for your children.

I believe our teachers and our staff are the lifeblood of this school. We are working hard to get our facilities ready for student return, so our staff can continue to pour into every kid, every day. The students are why we are here, and I hope that passion and dedication is visible to every single one of our students and families!
